Business Coaching Programs

Our executive business coaching programs teach the skills and methods to achieve higher levels of personal and organizational success. You’ll learn how to stay focused, take positive action, overcome obstacles, and achieve great aspirations.

The coaching process includes the following:
  • Develop a Vision and Master Plan
    Your Vision is your long-term destination, typically 3 years. Your Master Plan includes what you want to achieve generally within one year. Your Master Plan drives you at a high level throughout the year. Your Master Plan contains your goals, but also the reasons behind the goals. The reasons are the driving force to cause you to behave in a certain way (i.e., consistent with your goals). Your Master Plan is balance in that it does not just focus on your work-related goals.
  • Develop a Quarterly Action Plan to support your Master Plan
    You’ll work toward your Master Plan in 90-day increments. Every quarter we’ll review your progress, make adjustments, and create a refreshed Quarterly Action Plan.
  • Develop a 30-day Focus to support your Quarterly Action Plan
    The 30-Day Focus is where real progress is made. Each month, you’ll select your most important/critical objectives for the next 30 days. Your Focus creates accountability between you and your coach/focusing partner.
  • Monthly (or Bi-weekly) Coaching Calls
    Monthly or bi-weekly (your choice), you and your coach will talk on the phone to discuss your progress. We’ll begin by looking at your Focus Plan for the past 2-4 weeks. We’ll also work together on reviewing and renewing your Quarterly Action Plans.
  • Periodic Tips & Ideas
    We’ll share with you tips, ideas, quotes, thoughts, best practices, and so forth that may help you on your path toward goal achievement.

We were presented with a challenge involving a senior management team, of a manufacturing company, that was described by their CEO as a breaking point in the company’s history. The management team members had essentially lost focus, direction, and were on the brink of self-destruction. The CEO was preparing to fire one of the executive team members when he placed a call to our office to seek guidance.

An immediate assessment of the situation suggested  holding off on firing anybody and indicated that the root cause issues were centered around poor communication, lack of trust, and a management team that was completely out of alignment with a unified direction and strategy.

The Solution: In addition to a comprehensive strategic planning initiative, the team engaged in communications and team performance training supported by executive coaching for more than half of the team members. Although the extensive nature of this initiative is not typical, it was a necessity in this case. The executive coaching served well to accelerate professional development and growth of the coaching participants which allowed the team to gel more quickly and achieve their desired results.

The Result: During the development initiative, and over the course of the next four years the company added production capacity, doubled their revenue, and profit soared into the double digits. All of this was accomplished without increasing headcount. Although the final results were due to the efforts of the management team and their employees, the CEO stated “We could not have achieved this without the guidance and hands-on coaching provided by SKYE Business Solutions.”
